It is true that “kids say the darndest thing” and some of the stuff that they come up with can be quite entertaining to us “old people.” However, sometimes when I am out in public I sometimes see/hear things from kids that just puzzle me.
For example, a while back I was at a Mickey D’s grabbing a quick bite to eat. Inside this particular McDonald’s is a statue of Ronald McDonald sitting on a bench seat.
As I begin chowing down, a couple with three small children, a boy who was probably two-ish, and two girls that I would guess were approximately three and five, come in. The parents stroll right on up to the register to place their order and their kids run over to see ol’ Ronald. The boy and the younger of the two girls climb up in his lap and begin poking him on the eye, talking to him, etc…it was quite entertaining, especially since they talked to him like he was Santa Claus.
