Last night I did what many Americans did that they weren’t doing 20 years ago. I was watching President Barack Obama give the “State of the Union” address conversing about it via Facebook and Twitter.

As the night wore on, the more I found myself engaging on Twitter and getting frustrated with Facebook. So I decided to take a look at each platform and analyze why I was feeling the way I was. (more…)

Don't Mess With Texas, Dr. Pepper!


If you are a fan (or now previous fan) of Dr. Pepper or have been fortunate enough to have been exposed to Dublin Dr. Pepper, I am sure you have cursed, sworn off the soft drink giant and strangle every bottle or can of the high-fructose corn syrup laced beverage of corporate greed.

I am right there with you.

However, I have taken the time to think about what went down and what else could have possibly gone down. I am not your typical conspiracy theorist, but when someone messes with a sacred staple of southern goodness, they should expect a demand for answers only rivaled by Area 51 and the Moon Landing.

So I am going to break this into two parts, the conspiracy theory and what would have been the smarter move.
